As an Energy Transition Intern at Emmett Green, you will be at the heart of the energy transition. You will be involved in projects that drive change in energy-intensive industries, collaborating with companies to develop energy hubs, battery systems, and innovative sustainable energy solutions. Your role will include advising clients and supporting project development by executing simulations, setting up financial models, and creating project-related documents.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting simulations using our in-house Energy Management System.
  • Working with Excel-based financial models to analyse and forecast project outcomes.
  • Performing feasibility studies and technical evaluations of energy projects, considering technical, economic, environmental, and legal factors while aligning with stakeholder interests.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.
  • Preparing documents and presentations for clients and internal teams to support decision-making.

While your primary focus will be on the tasks above, we are open to discussing research


REQUIREMENTS


WHAT WE OFFER

  • Enrolled as a college student, preferably in (Renewable) Energy Science, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Enthusiasm for sustainable energy projects and contributing to the energy transition.
  • Proactive and goal-oriented mindset.
  • A challenging internship for at least 5 months.
